Weekend brights & stripes

H&M striped top, thrifted cutoff shorts, Ecote sandals, Shwood sunglasses

It was warm and beautiful this weekend for my long and restful holiday. I wore this for a nice walk around the sunny neighborhood on my way to check out the sales at the local mall since most of my good friends were out of town. Shopping is perhaps my favorite activity when I'm stuck on my own. I found this top for cheap at H&M and i love the big oversized shape and the bold stripes, in the perfect colors for this season. It's probably not the most flattering thing I've ever worn, but on a hot summer day it's perfectly loose and comfortable. Despite the fact that they are a little rubbery (not the most comfortable) these are my new favorite sandals just for the cool look.

I have a three day week at work this week, which is pretty exciting. We got yesterday off for the July 4th holiday and I'm taking Friday off to head down to Eugene (my college town, go ducks!) with the boyfriend. If it's warm enough we might even get to spend a day floating the river. Sounds good to me!
